My Recipe Collection: Pancakes

Pancakes for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner~

Pancakes are definitely one of my favourite comfort food, especially ideal for a lazy weekend morning. This recipe is easy and makes tasty fluffy pancakes!

The portion is quite big, so I usually half the portion. If I remember correctly, it makes a good 15 pancakes.
Also, you can replace the milk (or some portion of it) with buttermilk or table cream to make it tastier.
Talking about it makes me want to make a batch right now....

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cup             all purpose flour
  • 3.5 teaspoon     baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon        salt
  • 1 tablespoon     sugar
  • 1.25 cup           milk
  • 1                      egg
  • 3 tables            melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon       vanilla extract

Tools:
  • measuring cups
  • sift
  • fry pan
  • a large bowl

Procedures:
  1. In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in milk, egg, melted butter and the vanilla extract.
Mix it all until the texture becomes smooth.
  3. Heat the frying pan. Make one pancake at a time by pouring small amount of batter (~ 1/4 cup) in at a time.
