I woke up to the ring of my cellphone this morning at 11:14. The sun was so bright that I could feel the warmth through my closed opaque glass doors.
Seeing the sender of the most recent text, I ignored the other message icons and clicked his name.
Funny how such a short message can brighten up my day so much.
Especially since there were no additional exchanges after that.
The other texts were equally heart-warming, and brought a smile to my face.
Being in Ottawas for Christmas wasn't so bad after all!
